The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lucio Dolcet stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ambrosio Rolado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aquiles Fiz in the 56th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the match, Estrella Negra's goal looked a bit too open when Zeledon Gonzales came free, but Ambrosio Rolado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Chacarita Juniors's zone, Nicolas Cidro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Feliciano Lehior came out of the goal and Nicolas Cidro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Faustino Ebardo hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Xavi Xavier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute, Hernan Loren left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chacarita Juniors fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. After a defensive mix-up in Estrella Negra's zone, Xavi Xavier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ambrosio Rolado came out of the goal and Xavi Xavier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 80 played minutes Estrella Negra got a freekick which was hit by Siro Astrada. When Honorio Henry fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Estrella Negra's protests and gave Honorio Henry a yellow card for diving instead. Estrella Negra's Ambrosio Rolado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aquiles Fiz in the 84th minute of play. In the 86th minute, Zeledon Gonzales made a precise shot to the right of Ambrosio Rolado. Estrella Negra's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. Ambrosio Rolado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hernan Loren in the 94th minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Zeledon Gonzales had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ambrosio Rolado. Estrella Negra's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zeledon Gonzales was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0.
