After a rather tough play, El Eje del Norte's Tobias Abeijon got a free kick in the 10th minute. Ambrosio Urdaspal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Di Matteo having to interfere. Ciro Lucado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basilio Jakue having to interfere. Osvaldo Ignatius hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 23rd match minute, Paulita FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severiano Oxel to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Guido Naldo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Basilio Jakue was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Basilio Jakue came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by El Eje del Norte's Ciro Lucado. But to his dismay, Ciro Lucado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Alberto Di Matteo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hipolito Rosario, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Filiberto Orlandus scored 1-1 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alberto Di Matteo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Filiberto Orlandus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 38 played minutes Paulita FC got a freekick which was hit by Hipolito Rosario. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Guido Naldo to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Ciro Lucado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Eje del Norte and the Paulita FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 51 played minutes El Eje del Norte got a freekick which was hit by Ciro Lucado. El Eje del Norte were furious when Iker Nahia was red carded, 56 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in El Eje del Norte fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 55th minute. Penalty! Hipolito Rosario hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. El Eje del Norte's Alberto Di Matteo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filiberto Orlandus in the 65th minute of play. Alberto Di Matteo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filiberto Orlandus in the 67th minute of the match. Jeremias Bento hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. 70 minutes into the game, Paulita FC's Ambrosio Urdaspal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alberto Di Matteo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. 74 minutes into the match, Paulita FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ingmar Gunnarsson came free, but Basilio Jakue reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ambrosio Urdaspal scored 3-1 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alberto Di Matteo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alberto Di Matteo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severiano Oxel in the 84th minute of the match. Alberto Di Matteo came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Paulita FC's Hipolito Rosario. But to his dismay, Hipolito Rosario quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Basilio Jakue made an important save on a dangerous shot by Guido Naldo in the 89th minute. Alberto Di Matteo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ambrosio Urdaspal in the 93rd minute of play. Alberto Di Matteo came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Paulita FC's Filiberto Orlandus. But to his dismay, Filiberto Orlandus quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. When the referee ended the match the Paulita FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
