In the 28th minute Cayetano Isidor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yngvar Kalvik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 28 played minutes Talleres de Cordoba got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Urki. An unexpectedly hard shot by Braulio Benvide in the 36th minute of play forced Talleres de Cordoba's goalkeeper Cleto Loi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute, Angelino Silvanito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dennis Klich during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dennis Klich kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. In the 93rd minute, Leopoldo Modestio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cleto Loi was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FC Bayern Munich fully deserved thier win.
