Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Haris Plaggenborg in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Evelio Gaxan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 15 minutes of play, Soccer Speed F.C's Ruben Faron made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Evelio Gaxan was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 18 minutes, Haris Plaggenborg made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Club Sportivo Desamparado's Evelio Gaxan tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Haris Plaggenborg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 24th minute Angel Fidensio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evelio Gaxan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th minute, Haris Plaggenborg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Evelio Gaxan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Evelio Gaxan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruben Faron in the 30th minute of play. When Haris Plaggenborg came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Soccer Speed F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Haris Plaggenborg couldn't finish the play. In the 39th match minute, Club Sportivo Desamparado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gregorio Quiroga to maneuver through the defense. In the 42ndth minute of the game Silvestre Enekoitz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Soccer Speed F.C's Clodoveo Salamon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 43rd minute Ruben Faron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evelio Gaxan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Haris Plaggenborg made a kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Haris Plaggenborg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Soccer Speed F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Haris Plaggenborg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 54th minute, Silvio Bilbo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Clodoveo Salamon was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. In the 58th minute, Ruben Faron got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Angelino Oliverio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 73 minutes, Haris Plaggenborg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Angel Fidensio might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Evelio Gaxan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Angel Fidensio ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Soccer Speed F.C booed when Club Sportivo Desamparado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eleuterio Luar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eleuterio Luar's late challenge caught a Soccer Speed F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eleuterio Luar helped the player get up and apologised. Evelio Gaxan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Haris Plaggenborg in the 78th minute of the match. In the 81st minute Silvestre Enekoitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clodoveo Salamon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 82 minutes of play, Club Sportivo Desamparado's Filomeno Pasqual made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Clodoveo Salamon was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvestre Enekoitz in the 85th minute of play forced Soccer Speed F.C's goalkeeper Clodoveo Salamon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Haris Plaggenborg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Evelio Gaxan having to make a save. In the 89th minute, Ruben Faron got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Haris Plaggenborg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Evelio Gaxan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eleuterio Luar got his second yellow card in the match during the 93rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Soccer Speed F.C played a much better game than Club Sportivo Desamparado and deserved their victory. The Club Sportivo Desamparado players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
