Ulisses Donato took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Placido Marquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benito Cordarell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximo Urdaspal having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, Chiyuyoc FC's Baltasar Fero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ulisses Donato narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 71st minute Baltasar Fero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulisses Donato saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Danilo Abad hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Baltasar Fero took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ulisses Donato. Ulisses Donato dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 94th minute Roman Honesto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximo Urdaspal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 96 minutes into the match, Chiyuyoc FC's goalkeeper Maximo Urdaspal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anselmo Magdaleno. The Pep Guardiola FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Chiyuyoc FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
