Clemente Erasto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Defensores de Caballito's zone, Renato Paulista stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clemente Erasto came out of the goal and Renato Paulista tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Defensores de Caballito's Clemente Erasto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eulalio Claus in the 15th minute of play. Alemania's Carlos Petri proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Alemania from getting a goal against them. A hard shot 28 in the game by Gerardo Fernado from a close distance when the talented Carlos Petri managed to make a qualified save. Alemania's players were relieved. After having played for 29 minutes, Eulalio Claus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alemania's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eulalio Claus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabian Restu in the 32nd minute of play forced Alemania's goalkeeper Carlos Petri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Clemente Erasto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anibal Fidencio, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Carlos Petri was out of position in the 36 minute of play, and Rosendo Tulio capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rosendo Tulio really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. In the 40th match minute, Defensores de Caballito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Farias to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gerardo Fernado stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Defensores de Caballito's Santiago Buinton got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Gabriel Polentzi kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. When Clemente Abascal came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Alemania fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clemente Abascal couldn't finish the play. When Rosendo Tulio fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Defensores de Caballito's protests and gave Rosendo Tulio a yellow card for diving instead. After 55 played minutes Defensores de Caballito got a freekick which was hit by Rosendo Tulio. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerardo Fernado in the 59th minute of play forced Alemania's goalkeeper Carlos Petri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Clemente Erasto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anibal Fidencio in the 65th minute of play. Clemente Erasto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anibal Fidencio in the 71st minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 77th minute by Eulalio Claus got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 80 minutes in the game Roque Min did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Rosendo Tulio. Carlos Petri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Farias in the 86th minute of play. Anibal Fidencio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clemente Erasto having to interfere. 91 minutes into the game, Paulo Iigo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Clemente Erasto. Paulo Iigo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. Fabian Restu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carlos Petri having to make a save.
