In the 3rd match minute, River Plate AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafael Oskarbi to maneuver through the defense. In the 6th minute Rodolfo Terciero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vasco Correia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vasco Correia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo Sadurni in the 8th minute of play. Carmelo Costante recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Los 8 Del Chavo's goalkeeper Christian Frutos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The long shot by 顾扬明 in the 17th minute really tested Christian Frutos's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Vasco Correia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustavo Sadurni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustavo Sadurni in the 23rd minute of play forced River Plate AFC's goalkeeper Vasco Correia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vasco Correia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo Sadurni in the 27th minute of the match. When Gustavo Sadurni got free in front of the goal in the 27th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Vasco Correia was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. When Celso Chus fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored River Plate AFC's protests and gave Celso Chus a yellow card for diving instead. In the 40th minute, Los 8 Del Chavo's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jairo Abeijon fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Felipe Paublo kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustavo Sadurni in the 44th minute of play forced River Plate AFC's goalkeeper Vasco Correia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel Gorka in the 47th minute of play forced River Plate AFC's goalkeeper Vasco Correia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carmelo Costante made a kick off. Carmelo Costante might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Christian Frutos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carmelo Costante ran back to his position shaking his head. Christian Frutos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carmelo Costante's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Gustavo Sadurni could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Vasco Correia made a huge save. Christian Frutos came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by River Plate AFC's Paulo Jesco. But to his dismay, Paulo Jesco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 67 minutes into the match, Los 8 Del Chavo's goal looked a bit too open when Carmelo Costante came free, but Christian Frutos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Los 8 Del Chavo booed when River Plate AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. 顾扬明 didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 74 played minutes River Plate AFC got a freekick which was hit by Vilgot Bagge. Rafael Oskarbi kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. River Plate AFC's Vasco Correia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save River Plate AFC from getting a goal against them. Samuel Gorka recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gustavo Sadurni might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vasco Correia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gustavo Sadurni ran back to his position shaking his head. After 91 minutes, Gustavo Sadurni mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los 8 Del Chavo and the River Plate AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. River Plate AFC's Jimeno Abad was substituted for 顾扬明. After a rather tough play, Los 8 Del Chavo's Gustavo Sadurni got a free kick in the 93rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Carmelo Costante managed to get in a good position for a shot. River Plate AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Carmelo Costante was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christian Frutos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Despite being the better team, Los 8 Del Chavo failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
