The supporters of Ninte booed when Paltoroa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adan Izel didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th minute, Honorato Lain sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Paltoroa's Emanuel Mas didn't even have to move. Ruben Abaurre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paltoroa's Emanuel Mas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustin Froylan in the 22nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Ninte's Jeronimo Leheren got a free kick in the 24th minute. Honorato Lain was slow to take the kick. During this time Ninte's players had a chance to rest. Ninte's Honorato Lain was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Emanuel Mas in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Miguel Chayo to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Paltoroa's Celso Conrao nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gaston Jobo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ruben Abaurre got free with Emanuel Mas in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 63 minutes into the match, Paltoroa's goalkeeper Emanuel Mas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Honorato Lain. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ruben Abaurre got free with Emanuel Mas in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 65 minutes into the game, Gaudencio Manni was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Paltoroa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ninte the free kick. The audience was convinced that Agustin Froylan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emanuel Mas was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. When Jeremias Edur fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paltoroa's protests and gave Jeremias Edur a yellow card for diving instead. After 92 played minutes Paltoroa got a freekick which was hit by Jeremias Edur. 93 minutes into the game, Agustin Froylan lined in a short shot 3-2 behind a frustrated Emanuel Mas. Many of Ninte's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ninte may have spent more time on the ball, but Paltoroa were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
