In the 45th match minute, Ascensión FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eriberto Cebrian to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

But to his dismay, Isaias Hever quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Teodoro Claris took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eriberto Cebrian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 89 minutes into the match, MARCANI MAFIA's goal looked a bit too open when Leonides Rameriz came free, but Teodoro Claris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 90 minutes into the game, Gustavo Nabar recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Patricio Araoz. Gustavo Nabar showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Isaias Hever in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teodoro Claris saved MARCANI MAFIA from getting behind. Ascensión FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
