Rogelio Jordy yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Aldo Laurin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Camioneros FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Aldo Laurin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rogelio Jordy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Camioneros FC booed when Capla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benito Nel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Celso Quintun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Rogelio Jordy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aldo Laurin got free with Rogelio Jordy in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 45th minute, Rafael Nahia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.
