An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonides Chesus in the 27th minute of play forced Aguara Guazu's goalkeeper Sixto Baumer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, I.M.P.S.A. Sport Club's Serafin Arlo got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 39th minute of the match, Leonides Chesus tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sixto Baumer saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Modesto Barrionuevo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44thth minute of the game Leonides Chesus who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aguara Guazu's Sixto Baumer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Celedonio Lucero to strike the kick off in the second half. Feliberto Eusko's late challenge caught a Aguara Guazu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Norman Arlt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Henry having to interfere. 78 minutes into the game, one of Aguara Guazu:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Aguara Guazu's Arsenio Cordareo was substituted for Celedonio Lucero. Arsenio Cordareo hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. In the 89th minute, one of Aguara Guazu:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Aguara Guazu. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Arsenio Cordareo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aguara Guazu's supporters rose to their feet, but Arsenio Cordareo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bruno Henry breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Aguara Guazu defense, Leonides Chesus kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sixto Baumer. The Aguara Guazu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sixto Baumer should have stopped the shot. Leonides Chesus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 100th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. I.M.P.S.A. Sport Club fully deserved thier win.
