The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Joélson Paranaense managed to get in a good position for a shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Barros in the 72nd minute of play forced Xeneizes S.A.'s goalkeeper Armando Restu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Martin Barros could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Armando Restu made a huge save. Armando Restu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aldo Indalecio in the 76th minute of play. Armando Restu was a little too slow when Aldo Indalecio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 78th minute. The score was now 0-3. Daniel Hegoi kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gilberto Ado got free with Armando Restu in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 94th minute Aldo Indalecio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Restu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Xeneizes S.A. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. SOMIRIVER were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
