In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind LEPRA 74's goalkeeper Mario Alfonso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Astor Cordairo struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Artemio Eleder didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LEPRA 74. The supporters of Macondo booed when LEPRA 74 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 103 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benito Manilan didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Macondo lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
