Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eugeniusz Dembowski to make the kick off. Bayauca AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Timoteo Vincente was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in haedo manda FC's zone, Lorenzo Cordareo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reynaldo Gorri came out of the goal and Lorenzo Cordareo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 95th minute Lorenzo Cordareo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reynaldo Gorri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bayauca AFC's Timoteo Vincente got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Bayauca AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
