Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dante Loco started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 2 played minutes Santamarina got a freekick which was hit by Blas Manilan. Isidro Guillen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Blas Manilan went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Abel Menendo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Guaberto Cordarin made a huge save. A collision led to Santamarina getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Jonas Vincente hit a great ball. In the 28th minute, Mauricio Cordarell ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Isidro Guillen was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 33rd minute, Dante Loco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 36th match minute, Chapelco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vladimiro Mannuel to maneuver through the defense. In the 39th minute, Blas Manilan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Santamarina fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. In the 43rd minute, Abel Menendo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 45 minutes into the game, Dante Loco lined in a short shot 2-3 behind a frustrated Guaberto Cordarin. The Chapelco players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Santamarina were winning 2-3.

After 58 minutes of play, Chapelco's Santiago Gudesteo made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Guaberto Cordarin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Guaberto Cordarin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dante Loco's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. Abel Menendo struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Guaberto Cordarin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chapelco. Guaberto Cordarin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abel Menendo in the 74th minute of the match. After 76 minutes, Silverio Guilabertus mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chapelco and the Santamarina players grew even worse after the yellow card. Silverio Guilabertus kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Abel Menendo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Guaberto Cordarin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Isidro Guillen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauricio Cordarell in the 86th minute of the match. Abel Menendo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Guaberto Cordarin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santiago Gudesteo, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mauricio Cordarell in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Isidro Guillen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Chapelco defense, Blas Manilan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Isidro Guillen. The Chapelco fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Isidro Guillen should have stopped the shot. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Santamarina eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
