Ubaldo Berto was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 33rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Liverpool FC's Saturnino Gonzales played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rigoberto Peio in the 47th minute of play. After the first half Liverpool FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 58th minute, Leo Nahia reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Cesar Roderigo. The goal made the score 0-2. A collision led to Liverpool FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Leo Nahia hit a great ball. Celestino Lartaun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Celestino Lartaun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Liverpool FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Celestino Lartaun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cesar Roderigo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Liverpool FC's Leo Nahia in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Ubaldo Berto helped the player get up and apologised. Ubaldo Berto kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Leo Nahia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cesar Roderigo didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 92nd minute, which inside left pole to 0-4. In the 97th minute, Leo Nahia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Liverpool FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
