Iker Cordera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leo Nahia, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 20th match minute, La Naranja Mecanica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simão Figueiredo to maneuver through the defense. Iker Cordera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuel Marquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The La Naranja Mecanica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iker Cordera should have stopped the shot.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Simão Figueiredo was the one to do the kick off. Iker Cordera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celestino Lartaun in the 52nd minute of play. Saturnino Gonzales made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Simão Figueiredo sent off a good shot on target. 56 minutes into the match, Liverpool FC's goal looked a bit too open when Simão Figueiredo came free, but Saturnino Gonzales reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Liverpool FC's Saturnino Gonzales played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moises Botello in the 62nd minute of play. Cornelio Orkatz got his second yellow card in the match during the 66th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Roberto Medardo missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 68 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Saturnino Gonzales right hand side. A collision led to Liverpool FC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Rigoberto Che hit a great ball. Celestino Lartaun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iker Cordera having to interfere. 74 minutes into the game, Ezequiel Kemen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Naranja Mecanica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Liverpool FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, La Naranja Mecanica's Ezequiel Kemen got a free kick in the 74th minute. Saturnino Gonzales stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Simão Figueiredo's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. In the 77th minute of the match La Naranja Mecanica got a corner. Liverpool FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Moises Botello ran over to the corner to take the kick. Celestino Lartaun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iker Cordera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celestino Lartaun in the 88th minute of the match. The attack was good, but when Celestino Lartaun in the 90th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. If Celestino Lartaun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
