Hans Sibon started the match with the kick off. David Jordy's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Santo Izotz firmly grabbed it by the left post. Rodrigo Karmel charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rodrigo Karmel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 4th match minute, C.A. Ciudad Evita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodrigo Karmel to maneuver through the defense. If Marcelinho Viana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rafael Lartaun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelinho Viana in the 13th minute of play. Ignacio Cordarius kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Rodrigo Karmel took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 15th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rafael Lartaun. Nike F.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 16 minutes, Marcelinho Viana made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Nike F.C.'s Rafael Lartaun tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Hans Sibon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rafael Lartaun having to make a save. 23 minutes into the match, C.A. Ciudad Evita's goalkeeper Santo Izotz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by David Jordy. After some careless play in the C.A. Ciudad Evita defense, David Jordy kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Santo Izotz. The C.A. Ciudad Evita fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Santo Izotz should have stopped the shot. Feliciano Fonso took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 29th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rafael Lartaun. Nike F.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hans Sibon in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rafael Lartaun prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 38 minutes into the match, Nike F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Robustiano Guillen came free, but Rafael Lartaun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of C.A. Ciudad Evita booed when Nike F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Phelipe didn't get a good kick on the ball. C.A. Ciudad Evita's Hans Sibon got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. David Jordy was the one to do the kick off. If Modesto Gutierrez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Cirilo Silviano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nike F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Cirilo Silviano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Santo Izotz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Nike F.C.'s Rafael Lartaun got control of the ball when Hans Sibon tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Hans Sibon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. C.A. Ciudad Evita's Santo Izotz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Jordy in the 66th minute of play. Modesto Gutierrez kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute of the match, David Baldovino got a very nice opportunity to score, but Rafael Lartaun was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. C.A. Ciudad Evita were awarded a corner in the 74th minute after Nike F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rodrigo Karmel took the corner. Rodrigo Karmel made a great header on C.A. Ciudad Evita's corner, it was just that Nike F.C.'s Rafael Lartaun managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 77th minute David Jordy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santo Izotz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Hans Sibon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Marcelinho Viana came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the C.A. Ciudad Evita fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcelinho Viana couldn't finish the play. Robustiano Guillen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rafael Lartaun read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. If Marcelinho Viana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
