Hans Sibon who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 67thth minute tested the skills of Ismael Ondino when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Casimiro Formerio in the 68th minute of play forced C.A. Ciudad Evita's goalkeeper Santo Izotz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jairo Manilan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. C.A. Santo Izotz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Algarrobal FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
