Spectators: 7162 (Terracing: 5373, Seating: 1647, VIP seats: 142) Candelaria's Justino Mon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Orlandus in the 5th minute of play. Malligasta's Patricio Orlandus got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Patricio Orlandus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Justino Mon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Orlandus in the 14th minute of play. After some careless play in the Candelaria defense, Patricio Orlandus kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Justino Mon. The Candelaria fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Justino Mon should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Patricio Orlandus's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Justino Mon was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Patricio Orlandus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justino Mon having to interfere. Justino Mon came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Malligasta's Eduardo Bibiano. But to his dismay, Eduardo Bibiano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Malligasta's Eduardo Bibiano got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 32 minutes, Patricio Orlandus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Malligasta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patricio Orlandus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 38th minute Patricio Orlandus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justino Mon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 41 minutes into the game, Candelaria's Bruno Cordarius nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Victor Frederik made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. After 43 played minutes Candelaria got a freekick which was hit by Angel Eladio. Patrick Simões charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Patrick Simões the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 47 played minutes Malligasta got a freekick which was hit by Patrick Simões. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eusebio Cordairo to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Candelaria got a freekick which was hit by Iker Vito. In the 54th minute, Fred Moller had to leave the field with a concussion. Angel Eladio charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Angel Eladio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 56th match minute, Candelaria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angel Eladio to maneuver through the defense. Eduardo Bibiano kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. 64 minutes into the match, Malligasta's goal looked a bit too open when Eusebio Cordairo came free, but Victor Frederik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Justino Mon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Patricio Orlandus in the 67th minute. Justino Mon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Orlandus in the 69th minute of play. Patricio Orlandus in the 70thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Justino Mon, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With a little luck, Candelaria's Justino Mon got control of the ball when Eduardo Bibiano tried to sneak it across the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, Eduardo Bibiano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Justino Mon. Candelaria's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eduardo Bibiano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Patricio Orlandus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Justino Mon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 85 minutes into the match, Patricio Orlandus notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of Candelaria's Justino Mon. Justino Mon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 90th match minute, Candelaria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severo Martxelin to maneuver through the defense. 91 minutes into the match, Malligasta's Eduardo Bibiano broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 93rd minute, Patricio Orlandus made a precise shot to the right of Justino Mon. Candelaria's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-6. Malligasta played a much better game than Candelaria and deserved their victory. The Candelaria players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
