Alvaro Celio came out and tried to block the shot, but Bernardo Lucila slotted it home off the left post making it 7-0 in the 48th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 7-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cristo Nazario to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Lucila in the 54th minute of play forced Aston Wilde FC's goalkeeper Alvaro Celio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alvaro Celio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardo Lucila in the 91st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Aston Wilde FC's zone, Bernardo Lucila stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alvaro Celio came out of the goal and Bernardo Lucila tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee ended the match the Christian Gomito Gómez players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
