After a rather tough play, Pupuna FC's Godfredo Tercero got a free kick in the 19th minute. Silvestre Cebo was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Bernabe Fernandez. A sloppy throw-in by Bernabe Fernandez in the 26th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Pupuna FC's Armando Pietro. 32 minutes into the game, Silvano Gau recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Silvestre Cebo. Silvano Gau showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. After 35 played minutes Pupuna FC got a freekick which was hit by Domingos Garikoitz. A hard shot by Danilo Abalos from long distance, 36 minutes into the match, got Silvestre Cebo's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The supporters of Club Atlético Once booed when Pupuna FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Godfredo Tercero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Froilan Carlomagno in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Orlando Fernendo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 72nd minute, Froilan Carlomagno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 85th minute, Pupuna FC's Hugo Distiratsu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. Orlando Fernendo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Froilan Carlomagno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silvestre Cebo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ermegildo Giraldo in the 93rd minute of play. In the 94th minute Silvano Gau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvestre Cebo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pupuna FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
