Marucho's Emiliano Eguerdi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moises Quilino in the 28th minute of play. In the 29th minute Telén AFC were awarded a corner. Arsenio Berriotxoa went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Evelio Valente got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Emiliano Eguerdi quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The supporters of Telén AFC booed when Marucho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Conrado Sandaili didn't get a good kick on the ball. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Telén AFC's Moises Quilino in the 33rd minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Emiliano Eguerdi was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Marucho through an amazing save. Conrado Sandaili received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Jaime Salvino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 38thth minute of the game Moises Quilino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Marucho's Emiliano Eguerdi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 40 played minutes Telén AFC got a freekick which was hit by Moises Quilino. Moises Quilino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emiliano Eguerdi having to interfere. When Moises Quilino came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Telén AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Moises Quilino couldn't finish the play. After having played for 47 minutes, Evelio Valente managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Telén AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Evelio Valente was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aureliano Che to make the kick off. In the 55th match minute, Telén AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baldomiro Perez to maneuver through the defense. Jaime Salvino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aureliano Che, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Marucho getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Santiago Emeterio hit a great ball. After having played for 72 minutes, Arsenio Berriotxoa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Telén AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arsenio Berriotxoa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
