But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Silverio Leheren couldn't finish the play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Silverio Leheren to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Manucho FC's goalkeeper Guido Urtsin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Silverio Leheren. After having played for 71 minutes, Aquilino Hartz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 77th minute, Luis Rexino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 78 minutes, Aquilino Hartz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Defensores de Caballito and the Manucho FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 78 played minutes Defensores de Caballito got a freekick which was hit by Aquilino Hartz. Celedonio Soin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Rexino in the 80th minute of play. Aquilino Hartz hit a great ball. Luis Rexino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Rexino in the 92nd minute of play forced Defensores de Caballito's goalkeeper Celedonio Soin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 95 minutes into the match, Luis Rexino notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Defensores de Caballito's Celedonio Soin. Celedonio Soin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Manucho FC had won after a very even match.
