The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ricardo Gutierrez was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Ernestina's Sixto Incendio got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the 54th minute of the match Viejos Vinagres HC got a corner. Ernestina's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Erasmo Kismi ran over to the corner to take the kick. The Viejos Vinagres HC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Domingo Cordarius should have stopped the shot. Camilo Harkaitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeronimo Umea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jeronimo Umea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Gutierrez in the 75th minute of play forced Ernestina's goalkeeper Camilo Harkaitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Camilo Harkaitz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Viejos Vinagres HC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
