Spectators: 7065 (Terracing: 5300, Seating: 1625, VIP seats: 140) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gilian Deckers kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute, Mauricio Errapel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The J.S.VERON fans' excitement grew in the 4th match minute when J.S.VERON's Gilian Deckers looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 9 minutes of play, CiberZona's Martin Berart made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cauan Paulista was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in CiberZona's zone, German Ixidor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aquilino Evangelista came out of the goal and German Ixidor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gilian Deckers in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aquilino Evangelista saved CiberZona from getting behind. Cauan Paulista was out of position in the 22 minute of play, and Mauricio Errapel capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mauricio Errapel really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. In the 41st minute Robustiano Tiso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cauan Paulista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Robustiano Tiso made a kick off. If Antonio Beila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 53 played minutes CiberZona got a freekick which was hit by Mauricio Errapel. After 56 played minutes Gilian Deckers rounded CiberZona's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-2. 61 minutes into the match, J.S.VERON's goal looked a bit too open when Robustiano Tiso came free, but Cauan Paulista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute, Mauricio Errapel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cauan Paulista was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. The supporters of J.S.VERON booed when CiberZona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robustiano Tiso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aquilino Evangelista stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gilian Deckers's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacinto Erramu in the 81st minute of play forced J.S.VERON's goalkeeper Cauan Paulista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cauan Paulista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Berart in the 87th minute of the match. In the 89th minute, Robustiano Tiso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CiberZona fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-3. After a rather tough play, CiberZona's Geronimo Aguilera got a free kick in the 94th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the J.S.VERON players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for CiberZona.
