Ernesto Furman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donato Transito in the 4th minute of play. When Danilo Galsino fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Perla Negra's protests and gave Danilo Galsino a yellow card for diving instead. Danilo Galsino hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Emanuel Ixaka was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 11th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When Honorio Perez fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chipaite's protests and gave Honorio Perez a yellow card for diving instead. Honorio Perez hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Remigio Gabon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, El Perla Negra's Orlando Polentzi got a free kick in the 16th minute. Donato Transito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Ernesto Furman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ernesto Furman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Melin in the 20th minute of play. Chipaite's Jeremias Txartiko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remigio Gabon in the 21st minute of play. Honorio Perez hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Chipaite's zone, Remigio Gabon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jeremias Txartiko came out of the goal and Remigio Gabon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 30 played minutes Chipaite got a freekick which was hit by Honorio Perez. In the 36th minute, Emanuel Ixaka left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chipaite fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Danilo Galsino kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Rodolfo Mattin's late challenge caught a Chipaite's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rodolfo Mattin helped the player get up and apologised. After a good free kick, Donato Transito got an opportunity to smash the ball into the goal, but unfortunately, the ball went just outside the goal, which resulted in a goal kick for El Perla Negra. After the first half Chipaite were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Donato Transito stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Hugo Melin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chipaite fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After 57 minutes of play, Chipaite's Hugo Melin made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ernesto Furman was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 62nd minute, El Perla Negra's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Hugo Melin fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Honorio Perez made in the 70th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Donato Transito however managed to control. 72 minutes into the match, Emanuel Ixaka had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ernesto Furman. El Perla Negra's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emanuel Ixaka was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Hugo Melin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Ernesto Furman when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Melin in the 85th minute of play forced El Perla Negra's goalkeeper Ernesto Furman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, El Perla Negra's Ernesto Furman got control of the ball when Emanuel Ixaka tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rodolfo Mattin was shown his second yellow card after 87 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Rodolfo Mattin hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. El Perla Negra's Ernesto Furman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Ixaka in the 91st minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Chipaite had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
