Modesto Txatxu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Sixto Urtzi made a huge save. Ildefonso Elazar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laureano Cordaro in the 6th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Nacimiento AFC's Esteve Rutenio got a free kick in the 9th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 10 minutes, Sixto Urtzi successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 12 minutes in the game, Camilo Guter fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Sixto Urtzi having to interfere. 14 minutes into the game, Modesto Txatxu lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Sixto Urtzi. In the 19th minute, Elias Dabi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Laureano Cordaro kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. If Modesto Txatxu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Camilo Guter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Camilo Guter did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Sixto Urtzi 33 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Nacimiento AFC's zone, Camilo Guter stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sixto Urtzi came out of the goal and Camilo Guter tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Camilo Guter struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Sixto Urtzi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cienaguita AFC. Nacimiento AFC's Sixto Urtzi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Nacimiento AFC from getting a goal against them.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Camilo Guter was the one to do the kick off. Nacimiento AFC's Domingos Madeo shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 57th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ildefonso Elazar but with some difficulty. In the 63rd match minute, Nacimiento AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esteve Rutenio to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Camilo Guter's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sixto Urtzi was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Camilo Guter in the 70th minute of play forced Nacimiento AFC's goalkeeper Sixto Urtzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Evelio Azibar charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Sixto Urtzi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 86 minutes of play, Cienaguita AFC's Modesto Txatxu made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sixto Urtzi was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 92 minutes, Camilo Guter managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cienaguita AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Camilo Guter was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 96 minutes into the match, Camilo Guter had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sixto Urtzi. Nacimiento AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Camilo Guter was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. There was no doubt that Cienaguita AFC were the better team. Cienaguita AFC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
