The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 played minutes Mauricio Senio rounded Palmitas's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. A collision led to Palmitas getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Miguel Harriet hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romeo Hodei in the 10th minute of play forced Palmitas's goalkeeper Edgardo Fresco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Romeo Hodei kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Palmitas's Edgardo Fresco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romeo Hodei in the 15th minute of play. With a little luck, Palmitas's Edgardo Fresco got control of the ball when Dedê Nunes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mauricio Senio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edgardo Fresco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauricio Senio in the 25th minute of the match. Ildefonso Macario took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edgardo Fresco. Edgardo Fresco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 30th minute Mauricio Senio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgardo Fresco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Romeo Hodei notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Palmitas's Edgardo Fresco. Edgardo Fresco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ildefonso Macario in the 35th minute of play forced Palmitas's goalkeeper Edgardo Fresco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edgardo Fresco was out of position in the 37 minute of play, and Mauricio Senio capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mauricio Senio really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. Edgardo Fresco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mauricio Senio's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. If Mauricio Senio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44th minute, Martin Cisco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dedê Nunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

52 minutes into the match, Palmitas's goal looked a bit too open when Mauricio Senio came free, but Edgardo Fresco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 55th minute by Domingo Iyan got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 62nd minute, one of Palmitas:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Palmitas. The referee gave Rompehuesos F.C. a penalty, 63 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Romeo Hodei, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Palmitas's Edgardo Fresco. 5-0. Mauricio Senio struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Edgardo Fresco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rompehuesos F.C.. Edgardo Fresco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauricio Senio in the 75th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Palmitas defense, Ildefonso Macario kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edgardo Fresco. The Palmitas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edgardo Fresco should have stopped the shot. Romeo Hodei scored 7-0 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edgardo Fresco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 85 played minutes Palmitas got a freekick which was hit by Martin Cisco. In the 86th minute Agustin Manilan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgardo Fresco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Domingo Iyan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Domingo Iyan did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 7-1 to the left of a surprised Gerardo Peruanton 93 minutes into the match. The supporters of Rompehuesos F.C. booed when Palmitas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geronimo Cordeal didn't get a good kick on the ball.
