In the 22nd match minute, Pachanguero was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudio Etxekopar to maneuver through the defense. Enrique Tiso spun around in front of the goal 26 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Pachanguero's goal. In the 45th minute of the match, Vladimiro Belmiro got a very nice opportunity to score, but Aurelio Rodas was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benicio Cordarrol was the one to do the kick off. Aurelio Rodas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Melquiades Gonzo in the 59th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Pachanguero's zone, Enrique Tiso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alejandro Paublo came out of the goal and Enrique Tiso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benicio Cordarrol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelio Rodas having to interfere. Pachanguero's supporters crossed their fingers, but Melquiades Gonzo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Vladimiro Belmiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pachanguero were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Cojango for a fine match.
