Rosario Leproso's Lino Nogueira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cosme Arias in the 6th minute of play. When Feliciano Gartzi came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Rosario Leproso fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Feliciano Gartzi couldn't finish the play. In the 10th match minute, Deportivo Urquiza FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodoro Marquez to maneuver through the defense. Rosario Leproso's Lino Nogueira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Rosario Leproso from getting a goal against them. 24 minutes into the game, Feliciano Gartzi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rosario Leproso's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo Urquiza FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Rosario Leproso's Feliciano Gartzi got a free kick in the 24th minute. If Lorenzo Ireno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cosme Arias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristobal Terciero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lino Nogueira having to interfere. In the 35th minute, Cristobal Terciero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lorenzo Ireno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Feliciano Gartzi scored 0-1 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gaston Grabiel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lorenzo Ireno struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Gaston Grabiel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rosario Leproso. After the first half Rosario Leproso were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Feliciano Gartzi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes in the game, Feliciano Gartzi fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Gaston Grabiel having to interfere. When Lorenzo Ireno, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 54 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Gaston Grabiel was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 56thth minute of the game Feliciano Gartzi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deportivo Urquiza FC's Gaston Grabiel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 57 minutes into the game, Benigno Procopio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Deportivo Urquiza FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rosario Leproso the free kick. After 57 played minutes Deportivo Urquiza FC got a freekick which was hit by Benigno Procopio. Rosario Leproso's Lorenzo Ireno got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lorenzo Ireno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Gaston Grabiel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Benigno Procopio was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 62 minutes had been played. Gaston Grabiel came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Rosario Leproso's Lorenzo Ireno. But to his dismay, Lorenzo Ireno quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The supporters of Deportivo Urquiza FC booed when Rosario Leproso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bartolo Salomone didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Guido Galo from long distance, 71 minutes into the match, got Gaston Grabiel's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lorenzo Ireno got free with Gaston Grabiel in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lorenzo Ireno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Gaston Grabiel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
