Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Armando Gurutz started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Chapuy AFC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Flavio Selmo hit a great ball. Natalio Lico came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Boca Juniors's Armando Gurutz. But to his dismay, Armando Gurutz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The supporters of Boca Juniors booed when Chapuy AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flavio Selmo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chapuy AFC's Natalio Lico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zygmunt Wieloch in the 13th minute of play. A collision led to Boca Juniors getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Bernardino Barros hit a great ball. In the 16th minute, Armando Gurutz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Armando Gurutz kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. If Armando Gurutz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Armando Gurutz in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Natalio Lico prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Chapuy AFC's Flavio Selmo got a free kick in the 40th minute. In the 41st minute, Armando Gurutz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Natalio Lico was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. When the match clock showed 45 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Armando Gurutz sped through Chapuy AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Natalio Lico. After the first half Boca Juniors were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Gervasio Mattin made the kick off in the second half. Boca Juniors's Anibal Abrego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavio Selmo in the 53rd minute of play. In the 55th minute Evelio Prejun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natalio Lico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Boca Juniors getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Adan Luke hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Boca Juniors defense, Gervasio Mattin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anibal Abrego. The Boca Juniors fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anibal Abrego should have stopped the shot. 60 minutes into the game, Boca Juniors's Sergio Maiorga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Natalio Lico made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. In the 64th minute, Jorge Urdaspal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Evelio Prejun might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Natalio Lico. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Evelio Prejun ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 68 minutes, Armando Gurutz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Boca Juniors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Armando Gurutz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 71 minutes of play, Chapuy AFC's Jose Nel made it 2-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anibal Abrego was left in no man's land by his defense there! Flavio Selmo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Anibal Abrego tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Herminio Bernal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodrigo Gonchan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natalio Lico having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Chapuy AFC's Mateo Orlin got a free kick in the 92nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Sergio Maiorga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boca Juniors's supporters rose to their feet, but Sergio Maiorga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Natalio Lico breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Boca Juniors's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
