The audience was convinced that Gervasio Mattin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fausto Haritzeder was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. The Chapuy AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 19th minute Arnoldo Beltza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natalio Lico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Arnoldo Beltza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 25 in the game by Genaro Oton from a close distance when the talented Natalio Lico managed to make a qualified save. Chapuy AFC's players were relieved. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gervasio Mattin in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fausto Haritzeder saved Florentino AFC from getting behind. In the 29thth minute of the game Gervasio Mattin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Florentino AFC's Fausto Haritzeder was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 31st minute Gervasio Mattin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fausto Haritzeder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32nd minute Arnoldo Beltza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natalio Lico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gervasio Mattin in the 34th minute of play forced Florentino AFC's goalkeeper Fausto Haritzeder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 0-3 became the score in the 37th minute when Gervasio Mattin elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 40th minute Jorge Urdaspal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fausto Haritzeder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arnoldo Beltza to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Florentino AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Urdaspal came free, but Fausto Haritzeder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But to his dismay, Jorge Urdaspal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Gervasio Mattin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Gervasio Mattin in the 58th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Fausto Haritzeder kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 0-5 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Arnoldo Beltza struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Natalio Lico didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Florentino AFC. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Flavio Selmo during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gervasio Mattin struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Fausto Haritzeder didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chapuy AFC. After a defensive mix-up in Florentino AFC's zone, Jorge Urdaspal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fausto Haritzeder came out of the goal and Jorge Urdaspal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 77th minute, Justino Dodorol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Gervasio Mattin came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Chapuy AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gervasio Mattin couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Armando Gorka during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 80th match minute, Florentino AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armando Gorka to maneuver through the defense. In the 82nd minute of the match Jose Nel shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fausto Haritzeder showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 85 minutes into the match, Chapuy AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Genaro Oton came free, but Natalio Lico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Jorge Urdaspal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chapuy AFC played a much better game than Florentino AFC and deserved their victory. The Florentino AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
