Ramiro Reynardos short, quick shot in the 15thth minute got Arnulfo Orzaize to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Arnulfo Orzaize didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Rabobank's Ramiro Reynardo shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-0 in the ordered_time% minute. 21 minutes into the game, Ramiro Reynardo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Arnulfo Orzaize. Arnulfo Orzaize made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edelmiro Padro in the 33rd minute of play. If Aquilino Oinatz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Pericote AFC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Siro Leizarraga hit a great ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 36th minute of the game. One of Pericote AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Rabobank:s goal. Fernando Eguerdi shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Siro Leizarraga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ramiro Reynardo in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnulfo Orzaize prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ramiro Reynardo was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Pericote AFC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Flavio Bidun hit a great ball. After having played for 60 minutes, Aquilino Oinatz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rabobank's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aquilino Oinatz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pericote AFC's Fabricio Llorenc came free and shot a quick shot against goal 63 minutes in the game, fortunately Ruperto Nesor had problems saving as it came toward the left post. In the 65th minute Siro Leizarraga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruperto Nesor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Fabricio Llorenc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 72 minutes, Ramiro Reynardo made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. Pericote AFC's Arnulfo Orzaize tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Edelmiro Padro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pericote AFC's goalkeeper Arnulfo Orzaize, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 80 minutes into the match, Pericote AFC's Siro Leizarraga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ruperto Nesor narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice moves Fabricio Llorenc could shoot a difficult shot in the 89th minute, which Ruperto Nesor however easily saved by the left post. Arnulfo Orzaize took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramiro Reynardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ramiro Reynardo in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnulfo Orzaize prevented the ball from getting in the gole. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Rabobank fully deserved thier win.
