The audience thought a goal was coming when Ernesto Ponce got free with Lázaro Matro in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 13 minutes into the game, Manantiales's Gaudencio Barros nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lázaro Matro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 16th minute, Marciano Bonifaco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ronaldo Pena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ernesto Ponce could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Lázaro Matro made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ernesto Ponce got free with Lázaro Matro in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lázaro Matro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldo Pena in the 24th minute of the match. Lázaro Matro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ernesto Ponce in the 25th minute. After a rather tough play, Guitarreros Fc's Jacinto Fidele got a free kick in the 25th minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ronaldo Pena to make the kick off. Rigoberto Nerio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Guitarreros Fc's Lázaro Matro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gavino Suarez in the 66th minute of play. 67 minutes into the game, Jacinto Fidele was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guitarreros Fc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Manantiales the free kick. Jacinto Fidele hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 68 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Ildefonso Eguzki sped through Guitarreros Fc's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lázaro Matro. Lázaro Matro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ronaldo Pena went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Lázaro Matro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ildefonso Eguzki in the 75th minute of play. Ronaldo Pena took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lázaro Matro. Lázaro Matro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. Lázaro Matro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldo Pena in the 82nd minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Ernesto Ponce left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Manantiales fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. After having played for 87 minutes, Ronaldo Pena managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manantiales's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ronaldo Pena was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lázaro Matro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronaldo Pena, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. When Cosme Otsoko fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guitarreros Fc's protests and gave Cosme Otsoko a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Manantiales booed when Guitarreros Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cosme Otsoko didn't get a good kick on the ball.
