Spectators: 5340 (Terracing: 5339, Seating: 0, VIP seats: 1) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Abelardo Celio took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 10th minute, Gerardo Velasco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 14 minutes, Anibal Normando mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CORSARIOS and the Talacasto players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, CORSARIOS's Anibal Normando got a free kick in the 14th minute. Abelardo Orlan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Froilan Mambru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute Froilan Mambru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abelardo Orlan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. CORSARIOS's Abelardo Orlan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerardo Velasco in the 25th minute of play. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind CORSARIOS's goalkeeper Abelardo Orlan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ildefonso Inocente struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Abelardo Orlan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Talacasto. After 29 played minutes CORSARIOS got a freekick which was hit by Cristo Reynardo. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gerardo Velasco in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abelardo Orlan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gerardo Velasco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 46 minutes into the match, Talacasto's Gerardo Velasco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Abelardo Orlan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, CORSARIOS's Cristo Reynardo got a free kick in the 47th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

After 51 played minutes Gerardo Velasco rounded CORSARIOS's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-1. In the 54th match minute, CORSARIOS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardo Salvadore to maneuver through the defense. Abelardo Orlan made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Gerardo Velasco sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Idacio in the 64th minute of play forced CORSARIOS's goalkeeper Abelardo Orlan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in CORSARIOS's zone, Froilan Mambru stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abelardo Orlan came out of the goal and Froilan Mambru tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gerardo Velasco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abelardo Orlan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. Cristo Reynardo was shown his second yellow card after 70 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 70th minute, Cristo Reynardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 75 played minutes CORSARIOS got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Salvadore. Lucas Idacio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Abelardo Orlan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anibal Normando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Gervasio Inocente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joel Salvator's late challenge caught a CORSARIOS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After having played for 86 minutes, Froilan Mambru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Talacasto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Froilan Mambru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Omar Monte came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Talacasto fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Omar Monte couldn't finish the play. Talacasto's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
