Benicio Orlin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. After 43 minutes of play, Sepulturas FC's Benigno Bordat made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benicio Orlin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tobias Sein made a kick off. A collision led to Sepulturas FC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Mateo Erramun hit a great ball. Edgard Cesaro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tord Hägg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. If Edgard Cesaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edgard Cesaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elpidio Beti hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Tord Hägg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tobias Sein, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Edgard Cesaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tord Hägg having to interfere. Tord Hägg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgard Cesaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 81 minutes into the match, Benigno Bordat had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benicio Orlin. Noetinger's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benigno Bordat was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. Roque Seguinus kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Benigno Bordat who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 91stth minute tested the skills of Benicio Orlin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Tord Hägg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgard Cesaro in the 96th minute of the match. Sepulturas FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
