The audience thought a goal was coming when Valentin Bjørnkilde got free with Gregorio Manilan in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 11th minute, Paolo Goi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Racing Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Paolo Goi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Gregorio Manilan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aron Trumm was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 15th minute. Racing Club's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After 16 minutes, Lorenzo Telo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Racing Club and the Iruya FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Aron Trumm received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gregorio Manilan came out and tried to block the shot, but Aron Trumm slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 27th minute. Aron Trumm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregorio Manilan having to interfere. Gregorio Manilan stood somewhat misplaced when Paolo Goi came free in front of goal and shot 3-1 to the left of him in the 32 minute. Amador Hodei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Eli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gregorio Manilan came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Racing Club's Paolo Goi. But to his dismay, Paolo Goi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. In the 43rd minute, Paolo Goi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gregorio Manilan was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Iruya FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 47th minute, when Adrian Ur scored to the left of an out of position Gregorio Manilan, making the score, 6-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-1 at half-time.
The wind increased when Paolo Goi made the kick off in the second half. Amador Hodei was a little too slow when Anier Cordarrel got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 53rd minute. The score was now 6-2. 57 minutes into the game, Aron Trumm was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gregorio Manilan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Valentin Bjørnkilde charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valentin Bjørnkilde the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
