If Gregorio Baleren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gregorio Baleren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Cugat having to interfere. A collision led to NARUTO FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Salvador Dino hit a great ball. Ernesto Cugat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerardo Urtsin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gregorio Baleren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fabian Nikola hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute, Jairo Gasteiz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 35 minutes into the match, NARUTO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gregorio Baleren came free, but Ernesto Cugat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of A Boedo Vamos a Volver booed when NARUTO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicanor Oihenarte didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, NARUTO FC's Jairo Gasteiz tried to score from far away in the 48th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gregorio Baleren to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfredo Rosio in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcos Geleberto saved A Boedo Vamos a Volver from getting behind. In the 60th minute, Guillermo Policarpio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alfredo Rosio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gregorio Baleren in the 67th minute of play forced NARUTO FC's goalkeeper Ernesto Cugat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Gregorio Baleren managed to get in a good position for a shot. A Boedo Vamos a Volver's supporters rose to their feet, but Gregorio Baleren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ernesto Cugat breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alfredo Rosio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Geleberto having to interfere. Johnatan Ferrari hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. The long shot by Salvador Dino in the 76th minute really tested Marcos Geleberto's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. A collision led to A Boedo Vamos a Volver getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Guillermo Policarpio hit a great ball. Armando Bembe kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Gregorio Baleren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Cugat having to interfere. When Guillermo Policarpio came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the A Boedo Vamos a Volver fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guillermo Policarpio couldn't finish the play.
