Spectators: 6655 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1655, VIP seats: 0) Teodosio Laurin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evelio Gilabert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teodosio Laurin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hermengildo Rafel, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Empalme AFC's Teodosio Laurin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evelio Gilabert in the 7th minute of play. In the 10thth minute of the game Evelio Gilabert who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Empalme AFC's Teodosio Laurin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rigoberto Bermund received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cleto Elixio came out and tried to block the shot, but Rigoberto Bermund slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 12th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Empalme AFC's zone, Evelio Gilabert stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teodosio Laurin came out of the goal and Evelio Gilabert tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Teodosio Laurin came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by La M FC's Evelio Gilabert. But to his dismay, Evelio Gilabert quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Evelio Gilabert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Teodosio Laurin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hermengildo Rafel in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Teodosio Laurin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Evelio Gilabert came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the La M FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evelio Gilabert couldn't finish the play. Hermengildo Rafel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Teodosio Laurin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Hermengildo Rafel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The La M FC fans' excitement grew in the 53rd match minute when La M FC's Evelio Gilabert looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After having played for 56 minutes, Evelio Gilabert managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La M FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Evelio Gilabert was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cleto Elixio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hilario Unax in the 59th minute of play. After 61 minutes of play, La M FC's Evelio Gilabert made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Teodosio Laurin was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 73 minutes, Hilario Unax managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Empalme AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hilario Unax was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Teodosio Laurin didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 76th minute, which inside left pole to 1-6. Edgard Abecia kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Hermengildo Rafel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Teodosio Laurin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Evelio Gilabert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
