A hard shot 12 in the game by Evelio Gilabert from a close distance when the talented Tomas Odol managed to make a qualified save. C.A.Banfield's players were relieved. After a rather tough play, La M FC's Fabian Florinio got a free kick in the 17th minute. C.A.Banfield's Jeremias Llope got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 22 minutes into the match, C.A.Banfield's goalkeeper Tomas Odol had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Evelio Gilabert. After a defensive mix-up in C.A.Banfield's zone, Evelio Gilabert stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomas Odol came out of the goal and Evelio Gilabert tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 25th minute, Hermengildo Rafel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tomas Odol made an important save on a dangerous shot by Evelio Gilabert in the 26th minute. In the 27th minute, Evelio Gilabert made a precise shot to the right of Tomas Odol. C.A.Banfield's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Hermengildo Rafel struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Tomas Odol didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La M FC. Evelio Gilabert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hermengildo Rafel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hermengildo Rafel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tomas Odol read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Modesto Rainerio made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evelio Gilabert in the 54th minute of play forced C.A.Banfield's goalkeeper Tomas Odol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Odol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hermengildo Rafel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hermengildo Rafel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomas Odol having to interfere. Evelio Gilabert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The La M FC fans' excitement grew in the 66th match minute when La M FC's Hermengildo Rafel looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 69th match minute, La M FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvaro Columbo to maneuver through the defense. Cristo Fernanco kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. La M FC's Evelio Gilabert got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, La M FC's Alvaro Columbo got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Hermengildo Rafel took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tomas Odol. Tomas Odol dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. After having played for 90 minutes, Evelio Gilabert managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La M FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Evelio Gilabert was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to C.A.Banfield getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Miguel Arnas hit a great ball.
