If Wilfredo Fraco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Carmelo Arano kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Eusebio Oroitz. That made the score 1-0 in the 10 minute of play. Javier Rumaldo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Caraguatay's Eusebio Oroitz got control of the ball when Javier Rumaldo tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Narciso Rumaldo fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Caraguatay's protests and gave Narciso Rumaldo a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Quilmes Mdp booed when Caraguatay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Narciso Rumaldo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eusebio Oroitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carmelo Arano in the 22nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carmelo Arano in the 28th minute of play forced Caraguatay's goalkeeper Eusebio Oroitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Caraguatay's zone, Carmelo Arano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eusebio Oroitz came out of the goal and Carmelo Arano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Javier Rumaldo struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Eusebio Oroitz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Quilmes Mdp. In the 47th match minute, Caraguatay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pastor Maidana to maneuver through the defense. Eusebio Oroitz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Javier Rumaldo in the 49th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wilfredo Fraco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 61st minute of the match 任朗义 sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eusebio Oroitz skillfully saved the ball. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Carmelo Arano put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Eusebio Oroitz. Javier Rumaldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusebio Oroitz having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pastor Maidana during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Caraguatay getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Narciso Rumaldo hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Javier Rumaldo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eusebio Oroitz was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. Justo Azibar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aaron Bortzaioriz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Javier Rumaldo in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eusebio Oroitz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Quilmes Mdp's attack was well implemented in the 87th minute, but when Javier Rumaldo was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. When Carmelo Arano came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Quilmes Mdp fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carmelo Arano couldn't finish the play. Eusebio Oroitz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carmelo Arano's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. Javier Rumaldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Eusebio Oroitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eusebio Oroitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Javier Rumaldo in the 97th minute of the match. Carmelo Arano succeeded in the game's 99th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 5-0. Quilmes Mdp walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
