Spectators: 7140 (Terracing: 5356, Seating: 1642, VIP seats: 142) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Baltasar Herena took the kick off in the first half of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Baltasar Herena in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roman Gai prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 7 minutes into the game, Jonatan Salbatore was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Divisoria's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.A.Independiente Juniors the free kick. In the 7th match minute, Divisoria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonatan Salbatore to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Baltasar Herena's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roman Gai was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. The C.A.Independiente Juniors fans' excitement grew in the 11th match minute when C.A.Independiente Juniors's Baltasar Herena looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Roman Gai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baltasar Herena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Javier Ignatius made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Froilan Iago sent off a good shot on target. Baltasar Herena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Roman Gai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 24 minutes, Alejo Harri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A.Independiente Juniors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alejo Harri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 30th minute of the match, Jonatan Salbatore got a very nice opportunity to score, but Javier Ignatius was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After having played for 34 minutes, Alejo Harri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A.Independiente Juniors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alejo Harri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Divisoria's Roman Gai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alejo Harri in the 38th minute of play. C.A.Independiente Juniors's Javier Ignatius proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save C.A.Independiente Juniors from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Divisoria booed when C.A.Independiente Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonel Servando didn't get a good kick on the ball. But to his dismay, Alejo Harri quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

C.A.Independiente Juniors's Javier Ignatius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Froilan Iago in the 54th minute of play. When Teofilo Malvin fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Divisoria's protests and gave Teofilo Malvin a yellow card for diving instead. Teofilo Malvin hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. After 59 minutes of play, C.A.Independiente Juniors's Alejo Harri made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roman Gai was left in no man's land by his defense there! Roman Gai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alejo Harri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Froilan Iago received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Javier Ignatius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Baltasar Herena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Baltasar Herena got free with Roman Gai in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Froilan Iago recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. C.A.Independiente Juniors played a much better game than Divisoria and deserved their victory. The Divisoria players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
