The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Blas Lluques the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Cuchu FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Blas Lluques had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 23rd minute, Blas Lluques hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 29th minute Jonathan Buinton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leandro Hats saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 32 minutes, Damian Haritz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cuchu FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Damian Haritz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Sebastian Otsoko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cuchu FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastian Otsoko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elpidio Ordono breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cuchu FC's Sebastian Otsoko got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cuchu FC's Leandro Hats proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Cuchu FC from getting a goal against them.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Damian Haritz made a kick off. Damian Haritz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedro Semeno didn't get a good kick on the ball. 79 minutes into the match, Cuchu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Silverio Odilon came free, but Leandro Hats reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cuchu FC's Fulgencio Salamon suffered a sore thigh after 80 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Higinio Hulberto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Elpidio Ordono tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ubaldo Natanael recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 87th minute, Teofilo Estebe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leandro Hats was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Prospero Bela's late challenge caught a Cuchu FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Prospero Bela helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Mentirón FC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Prospero Bela hit a great ball. Cuchu FC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Mentirón FC to leave the ground with a draw.
