An unexpectedly hard shot by Damian Haritz in the 41st minute of play forced Tapas FC's goalkeeper Ermegildo Ignatius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cuchu FC's Leandro Hats played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiburcio Norino in the 47th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zacarias Abreu made a kick off. Tiburcio Norino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zacarias Abreu couldn't finish the play. Leandro Hats showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zacarias Abreu, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Tiburcio Norino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Leandro Hats made a huge save. 73 minutes into the game, Americo Dolfo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tapas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cuchu FC the free kick. Tapas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tiburcio Norino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leandro Hats breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Tapas FC booed when Cuchu FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ubaldo Natanael didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, Cuchu FC could leave the field as winners, despite Tapas FC having more of the ball for most of the match.
