Esteban Gorka showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. After 23 played minutes El ReProgreso got a freekick which was hit by Vladimiro Micael. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Marcos Hechter put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Anibal Naelio. After 34 minutes of play, El ReProgreso's Marcos Hechter made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anibal Naelio was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 38th minute, Vladimiro Micael ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anibal Naelio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. After a rather tough play, El ReProgreso's Dacian Predescu got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Celestino Eduino hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. El ReProgreso's Javier Vidal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Simões in the 46th minute of play. After the first half El ReProgreso were leading 1-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Chichinales AFC's Anibal Naelio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vladimiro Micael in the 60th minute of play. 63 minutes into the game, Karol Dobrzechowski threw the ball into play from the sideline. El ReProgreso's Lefter Bilgen quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Anibal Naelio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vladimiro Micael went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-6 was the resulting score. 71 minutes in the game, Marcos Hechter dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. El ReProgreso's Javier Vidal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esteban Gorka in the 74th minute of play. Anibal Naelio was a little too slow when Marcos Hechter got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 81st minute. The score was now 1-7. Javier Vidal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilfredo Eder in the 84th minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, Chichinales AFC's goalkeeper Anibal Naelio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vladimiro Micael.
