Oscar Havier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roberto Oier in the 17th minute of play. After 19 minutes, Roberto Oier made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. C.A River Plate's Oscar Havier tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Barracuda's attentive Juhan Rea managed to snatch the ball when Narciso Precioso made a throw-in in the 22nd minute of the game. Barracuda's Bartolo Endira pulled a muscle in his leg after 23 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Edmundo Couto charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edmundo Couto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 28th match minute, Barracuda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmundo Couto to maneuver through the defense. Oscar Havier stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roberto Oier's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. After 44 played minutes Barracuda got a freekick which was hit by Roberto Oier. A collision led to C.A River Plate getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Siro Bernal hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roberto Oier in the 47th minute of play forced C.A River Plate's goalkeeper Oscar Havier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The wind increased when Camilo Garci made the kick off in the second half. Roberto Oier who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 52ndth minute tested the skills of Oscar Havier when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Edmundo Couto kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. In the 93rd minute, Roberto Oier left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barracuda fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Barracuda's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
