Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Maximino Lauro got the match started through his kick off. Justo Haritz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Gervasio Gorka made a huge save. After 3 minutes, Cristian Dalmau mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.A. Independiente and the Alvear players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 7thth minute of the game Anacleto Henrico who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alvear's Feliberto Abascal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 9 minutes into the match, Anacleto Henrico notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Alvear's Feliberto Abascal. Feliberto Abascal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Alvear's zone, Cristian Dalmau stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Feliberto Abascal came out of the goal and Cristian Dalmau tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. C.A. Independiente's Leonardo Huly got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Alvear's Conrado Ibar got a free kick in the 16th minute. Feliberto Abascal came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by C.A. Independiente's Anacleto Henrico. But to his dismay, Anacleto Henrico quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Miguel Rutenio during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gervasio Gorka was a little too slow when Delmiro Asteri got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 24th minute. The score was now 1-2. A collision led to Alvear getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Ramon Veremundo hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Anacleto Henrico managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.A. Independiente's supporters rose to their feet, but Anacleto Henrico was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Feliberto Abascal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 31 played minutes Alvear got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Rutenio. When C.A. Independiente's Anacleto Henrico in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Alvear's goalie prevented a goal. The Alvear fans' excitement grew in the 36th match minute when Alvear's Justo Haritz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After having played for 44 minutes, Anacleto Henrico managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A. Independiente's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anacleto Henrico was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When C.A. Independiente's Anacleto Henrico in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Alvear's goalie prevented a goal. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anacleto Henrico to make the kick off. Feliberto Abascal was a little too slow when Leonardo Huly got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 52nd minute. The score was now 2-3. Anacleto Henrico let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 55th minute shot 2-4 at rihgt post. After 60 played minutes Alvear got a freekick which was hit by Justo Haritz. With splendid footwork Anacleto Henrico arrived in front of goal to shoot 2-5 by the left pole in the game's 61st minute. Anacleto Henrico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Feliberto Abascal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leonardo Huly struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Feliberto Abascal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A. Independiente. Maximino Lauro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anacleto Henrico could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Feliberto Abascal made a huge save. Gervasio Gorka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Justo Haritz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Alvear getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Delmiro Asteri hit a great ball. Feliberto Abascal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anacleto Henrico in the 90th minute of the match. When Jaime Acosta came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the C.A. Independiente fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaime Acosta couldn't finish the play. The Alvear fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. C.A. Independiente were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
