In the 5th minute, Serafin Chale ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carlos Ascencio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Serafin Chale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Ascencio having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Rio in the 17th minute of play forced MAREA ROJA DE YOSAPAS's goalkeeper Amador Lartaun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Placido Santos dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Carlos Ascencio, 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Mojigasta's zone, Serafin Chale stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Ascencio came out of the goal and Serafin Chale tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Serafin Chale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Carlos Ascencio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Serafin Chale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Serafin Chale in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Ascencio saved Mojigasta from getting behind. Serafin Chale's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlos Ascencio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Mojigasta's Jeremias Claude got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Carlos Ascencio acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 34th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Romeo Oroitz. Jorge Izotz hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Serafin Chale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Carlos Ascencio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

In the 54th minute Serafin Chale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Ascencio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 55 minutes into the match, Mojigasta's goal looked a bit too open when Tzvetomir Dzhukelov came free, but Carlos Ascencio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Serafin Chale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
