The crowd rose to their feet as Genaro Leheren kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Godofredo Izotz. That made the score 1-0 in the 6 minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Gimnasia y Esgrima Jujuy's goal looked a bit too open when Tadeo Bras came free, but Paulo Eudoxio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gualterio Estevez took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 17th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Paulo Eudoxio. Gimnasia y Esgrima Jujuy's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Campanas FC's goalkeeper Godofredo Izotz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cecilio Pierres. In the 21st minute, Jaime Gora hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Danilo Rey struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Paulo Eudoxio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Campanas FC. 29 minutes into the match, Gualterio Estevez notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Gimnasia y Esgrima Jujuy's Paulo Eudoxio. Paulo Eudoxio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Paulo Eudoxio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danilo Rey in the 33rd minute of the match. If Gualterio Estevez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tadeo Bras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Eudoxio having to interfere. In the 43rd minute Fermin Beltza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Godofredo Izotz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Campanas FC's Godofredo Izotz got control of the ball when Cecilio Pierres tried to sneak it across the goal line. Danilo Rey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Paulo Eudoxio came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Campanas FC's Gualterio Estevez. But to his dismay, Gualterio Estevez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gualterio Estevez made a kick off. After having played for 54 minutes, Cristian Rosalio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gimnasia y Esgrima Jujuy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Rosalio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tadeo Bras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Eudoxio having to interfere. With his leg Paulo Eudoxio managed to avoid a goal in the 57thth minute, when Campanas FC's Gualterio Estevez fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Through an outstanding action, after 60 minutes, Paulo Eudoxio successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Godofredo Izotz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fermin Beltza in the 64th minute of the match. José Paulo Bertassi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Paulo Eudoxio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 67 in the game by Danilo Rey from a close distance when the talented Paulo Eudoxio managed to make a qualified save. Gimnasia y Esgrima Jujuy's players were relieved. 68 minutes into the game, Gualterio Estevez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Paulo Eudoxio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tadeo Bras might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paulo Eudoxio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tadeo Bras ran back to his position shaking his head. Danilo Rey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Paulo Eudoxio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 75 played minutes Gimnasia y Esgrima Jujuy got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Rosalio. In the 83rd minute Gualterio Estevez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Eudoxio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Danilo Rey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Eudoxio having to interfere. If Gualterio Estevez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Tadeo Bras managed to get in a good position for a shot. Campanas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tadeo Bras was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulo Eudoxio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Paulo Eudoxio was a little too slow when Tadeo Bras got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 96th minute. The score was now 1-5.
